Styling the B-Ball
by KayLee Bellamy, Class of 2011, and Tilo Jackson, Class of 2011 - 26 Jan 2009

Racing down the court, we surround our opposing team mates, looking for possible gaps to pass to one another. Michael passes to Eliot and Eliot takes the lay-up to the basket. Score! We play a couple more short scrimmages and then we're done. We gather our stuff and leave the Simon's Rock gym after a good practice with our coach Michael Graeff.

Every Monday and Friday after school we all go to Simon's Rock to practice basketball. We do have a basketball team but usually play just for the fun of it.
Most of our games are home games, the other we either drive to Hartsbrook School, or Darrow School. We're never completely serious when we play, although sometimes we are.

This year we've been given new uniforms donated by the owner of Baba Louie's, Paul Mazeoro. Thank you so much, Mr. Mazeoro! The uniforms look great. Ramona Bellamy, our assistant, makes sure we have schedules of the games and practices and our uniforms.

Our team is made of up Conor, Eliot, KayLee, Michael, Tilo, and Rachel. Although we're only six players, we still play hard and keep our spirits high, using lots of team work. We play for the fun of basketball, showing people that you don't have to be big to be successful!
